Whitening Care Safe for Ultra-Sensitive Skin | Unique Ingredient ‘Ozonated Glycerin’ Safe for Use with a History of Atopic Dermatitis
At Mediplus Pharmaceuticals, we have been advancing our research and development of unique ingredients like ozonated glycerin, aiming to alleviate symptoms of atopic dermatitis through the use of our ozonated glycerin products. Not only have we observed relief from atopic symptoms, but clinical studies have also confirmed improvements in dark spots and wrinkles.
Conclusion #1: Safe for Use on Atopic Skin
No subjects showed any worsening of skin irritation symptoms, such as itching or redness. Our findings suggest that the product is safe for use at all concentrations, even on atopic and dry skin.

Conclusion #2: Increased Moisture Levels in Atopic Skin Confirmed
An increase in the stratum corneum hydration at the application site was observed. Although patients with atopic dermatitis typically have reduced skin barrier function and thus lower skin moisture levels, an improvement trend was particularly noted in individuals with severe dryness and those undergoing treatment for atopic dermatitis.

The Effect of Ozone on Collagen Type-1 and Inflammatory Cytokine Production in Human Gingival Fibroblasts
Ozone is currently being considered as a possible oral antiseptic agent because it is strongly antimicrobial and does not induce microbial resistance. In the article, we examined the effects of ozone exposure on the production of collagen type-1 and inflammatory cytokines in primary human gingival fibroblasts (HGFs) in vitro using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays. The addition of 0.5 ppm ozone significantly enhanced collagen type-1 production by HGFs within 24 h. Secretion of the pro-inflammatory cytokines interleukin-6 (IL-6) and IL-8 by HGFs treated with lipopolysaccharide decreased when ozone was present in the medium. Together, these results suggest that clinical use of ozone would facilitate the positive balance between HGF-mediated periodontal tissue maintenance
