Presentation on the Efficacy of Novel Glycerin Compounds for Atopic Dermatitis at AAD

A presentation on the safety and efficacy evaluation of atopic dermatitis was held at the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) in March, and it has been featured in the “Health Industry Distribution Newspaper” issue 1111 (published on 4/25).

We plan to continue utilizing Novel Glycerin Compounds (ozonized glycerin) extensively in the business ventures undertaken by our group companies in the future.

Steroid preparations

Steroid preparations are drugs that contain corticosteroids, which are also synthesized in the body. They have anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic effects and are used to treat various diseases. They are drugs that require caution due to their many side effects.

Rosacea dermatitis

Rosacea dermatitis is a chronic inflammatory disease of the skin. Symptoms generally include a red rash and swelling in the center of the face, accompanied by dryness and itching. The exact cause is unknown, but genetic and environmental factors are thought to be involved. Prolonged use of steroid preparations may also result in the appearance of rosacea-like dermatitis, a condition similar to rosacea.

Periodontal disease

Periodontal disease is an inflammatory disease caused by bacterial infection that results in the dissolution of the gums around the teeth and the bone that supports the teeth. Periodontal disease causes symptoms such as redness, swelling, bleeding, and bad breath.

Cancerous odor

Cancerous odor is the unpleasant smell occurs in the body as cancer progresses. The odor is more likely to occur due to changes in the state of the skin and metabolism, as well as the reduced function of internak organs as cancer progresses. It also can be caused by the proliferation the development of anaerobic bacteria in necrotic tissue.

Atopic dermatitis

Atopic dermatitis is a chronic or recurrent inflammatory skin disease. The term “atopic” generally refers to a genetic predisposition to allergic disease.

Anaerobes

Anaerobes are organisms without necessarily requiring oxygen to obtain energy for growth and proliferation. There are also archaea and eukaryotic microorganisms among them while most of them are bacteria.
